James Clark, M.D.

Dr. James Clark is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist, serving patients in Central Florida since 1980. He has previously served as Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at Florida Hospital Altamonte, and President of the department's entire medical staff.

Dr. Clark earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

After 23 years and thousands of deliveries, Dr. Clark retired from practicing obstetrics in 2003 to concentrate on his growing gynecologic patient population.

Since then, Dr. Clark has developed a special interest in women's sexual health issues. He is a member of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health, and has further studied this practice at seminars organized by the world's leading experts in treating female sexual dysfunction.

Bringing this exciting new practice to Central Florida, Dr. Clark has opened the Central Florida Female Sexual Dysfunction Clinic as an extension to his practice with Altamonte OB/GYN Associates.

Dr Clark is currently engaged in clinical research on hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) for a major pharmaceutical company, and also lectures frequently on Female Sexual Dysfunction throughout the U.S. Please visit Dr. James Clark's LinkedIn Profile for more details about his lecture schedule and latest accomplishments.
